Peneleapaí has been an artist from the word go. Proudly schooled in the Latino area of Queens NYC in her infant days; going on walkabout from east to west in Europe, before finally growing up in the land of Saints and Scholars which is the Republic of Ireland ~ the vocation has never wavered.
From gardener, Teacher, healer, performer, community facilitator/host, there has never been a variation re. the intuition of her script. Let us delve into who and what this is . . .
Aloha & be welcome

  3. Peneleapaí is a regular at various small festivals and yoga events around the country, inspiring people with her songs to connect with nature and look after the earth. She's travelling to Limerick for a one off FREE acoustic session in The Stormy Teacup. If you are looking for something to do tonight, this is a very good option.

  4. Next on stage was Peneleapai, a singer songwriter who hails from New York City with a refreshing urban sound of upbeat grunge, mixing in gothic Americana and even Irish songs into her set. Accompanied by her group, who bear the name ‘Good Medicine', what was portrayed to the audience was a strong rhythmic percussion section of congos and a cajon, with upbeat funky acoustic guitar rhythms. The groups sound is reminiscent to that of ‘Blind Melon’ and other nineties upbeat grunge rock groups, and her lyrics were colourful and striking, a mixture of emotions and messages, stories that included metaphors using the environment or just about the world itself. Her lyrical techniques follow an acclaimed list of singer songwriters who include Jack Johnson and Colin Hay of ‘Men at Work’ fame, singers who use their natural environment to convey their stories. Her set was extremely colourful. ~ Adrian Lavelle,
